Larry Pinson Sr. is an 18-year Illinois National Guard veteran and former U.S. Postal Service employee (1995–2009). After more than 35 years of watching workers be underpaid, overworked, and left without a clear understanding of their own compensation — he didn't file a complaint. He built a solution.

During his time in the military, Pinson witnessed the disconnect between the hours soldiers actually worked and the pay they received.
